KSS Training Expo-West Indiana Expo 2019

Join us for a day of intensive training from industry veterans at the annual KSS Training Expo. Designed for all levels of experience, you will learn best practices, see new products and be able to experience first-hand the latest technology in custodial equipment and supplies. Choose four workshops when you register. Don’t miss out!

THE FORMULA OF CLEAN – From how the custodial closet is organized to the techniques used for cleaning, this class will look at the impact that correct practices and attitude have on the workplace.

TOTAL HARD FLOOR MAINTENANCE – Hands-on learning about the daily, interim, and restorative techniques  for maintaining a clean and shiny floor. This class will discuss different types of finishes, burnishing, and matting as components of a complete floor program.

WORKPLACE COMMUNICATIONS – Learn to improve your communication skills–both verbal and nonverbal–in your fast-paced working environment. This class will also focus on navigating the constantly shifting diversity of the workplace, where coworkers can face generational, age and cultural differences.

GENERAL WORKPLACE SAFETY – Safety in the workplace is everyone’s responsibility and crucial to an organization. This class will review safe procedures regarding; fire safety, cleaning products, lockout / tagout systems, equipment, ladders, lifting and carrying, and personal protective equipment.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE – Maximize uptime and minimize operating costs by learning how to properly maintain your equipment. This class will cover parts, preventative maintenance and more.

THE CHEMISTRY OF CLEANING…GERMS – Learn about pH and the various ingredients that create a great chemical to make your job safer, easier, and sustainable…with particular emphasis on removing, reducing and killing germs.

RESTROOM CARE – Restroom cleaning and disinfecting; explore products and procedures for developing and maintaining odor-free restrooms.

THE CLEANING QUIZ SHOW – Do you think you know a lot about cleaning? Put your knowledge to the test while playing a fun, fast-paced game that will leave you with innovative techniques for cleaning.

NEW TOOLS OF THE TRADE – Technology is rapidly changing, creating superior products designed to be more effective and save you valuable resources. This class will profile many of the newer technologies available, giving you a complete understanding of how these products can benefit your facility.

GYM FLOOR CARE – In the last five years, many enhancements have been made to gym floor coatings. Learn about the new technology, the pros & cons of various finishes, and what’s right for your facility.
